North Star Rotary Youth Exchange has recently welcomed our 2026-2027 Inbound Exchange Students to MN and WI! Our inbound orientation, held on August 28-29th, provided the first opportunity for the students to get to know each other. Click “Read more” to see two new Youth Exchange students highlighted.
This group of Inbounds is hosted by 26 clubs within Districts 5950 & 5960. The Minneapolis City of Lakes Rotary Club is hosting two Inbounds, Riho & Mia, that we would love to introduce:
Riho
Japan, District 2640
Interests: Playing the violin, photography, music, travel, and learning about other cultures.
Fun Fact: Riho has enjoyed staying with her current Host Family and their pets
Mia
Argentina, District 4851
Interests: Powerlifting, reading and creative writing, music, piano and singing, physics and astrophysics, and cultural exchange
Fun Fact: In my first two weeks of being in the US I have gone to lakes, tennis matches, started soccer practice and went to the Minnesota State Fair, where I had the most fun ever! I also tried corndogs and some American candy for the first time, went on some crazy rides and finished the day with a concert by the talented Sierra Ferrell.
