Rotary International is changing the way it gives local and international service grants--is your club ready?

The Rotary Foundation is undergoing improvements to its grant-making model that will help clubs develop projects with greater impact.

Tested in 100 districts around the world for the past three years, the new model streamlines the grant application process and gives clubs and districts easier access to The Rotary Foundation.

The new process rolls out in District 5950 in early 2013 with The Rotary Foundation 2.0 Grant Management Seminar.  During this fun and interactive session, you will:

  • find out how to develop a grant proposal.
  • meet potential collaborators from other clubs.
  • pick up new ideas from your colleagues.
  • find out how to successfully manage the new financial and stewardship controls.
  • receive the District qualification necessary to apply for a matching grant.
  • leave with the confidence and knowledge to initiate an exciting project for your club.

The president-elect or a designated club representative must attend one of The Rotary Foundation 2.0 Grant Management Seminars.

Upcoming essions are scheduled for:

  • Saturday, April 6: 8:30 am to 12:30 pm, Solbrekk Business Technology Solutions, 1000 Boone Ave. N., Golden Valley
  • Saturday,  April 20: 10 am to 2 pm, Rotary District Assembly,  Minnesota State University Mankato at Edina, 7700 France Ave. S., Edina

Sessions will be limited to 20 participants, so register for your preferred date early.  There will be a $25 fee per participant, which will be invoiced to your Rotary Club.  We will provide lunch/dinner during the seminar.

Reserve a date on your calendar; you were emailed a registration form earlier, but if you have questions, feel free to contact Steve Solbrack at 612-578-8776 or steve@solbrack.com.
