Exciting news from Eagan, MN.  The new Eagan Kick-Start Rotary Club now officially has provisional status.  Once the club has 20 to 25 active charter members, they will submit their new club application to Rotary International.  They already have 18 prospective charter members actively participating in weekly meetings as they organize and gain momentum toward chartering.  Their meeting is Thursday morning from 7:00 am to 8:00 am.  They meet at Granite City Food & Brewery located at 3330 Pilot Knob Rd, Eagan, MN. Do you know of anyone that lives or works in the Eagan area that would make a good Rotarian?   Prospective charter members can contact Susan Kramer at smkramer@comcast.net for more information.

As we all know, Eagan has a thriving and very vibrant club that meets at noon on Wednesdays at the Eagan Community Center.  They have taken the initiative to sponsor a new club, to give even more people who live or work in the Eagan area an opportunity to participate in Rotary at a time of day and day of the week that works better for them.  Thank you so much to Scott Swenson, Gary Huusko and Tom Wilson for their leadership in the planning and organization of the new club.
