May and June Highlights

May and June were buzzing with energy in District 5950 as clubs launched new service projects, celebrated big milestones, and strengthened community partnerships. There was so much good happening across the district—be sure to read more and catch up on all the inspiring activity.


May 7th Burnsville Rotary celebrated it 50th anniversary	May 8th District committee chairs came to the American Swedish Institute for “Fika” (coffee and Swedish treats) with Leif clad in his family’s Swedish folk costume to discuss district goals.	May 30 \|“The I-94 Inclusive Rotary Club” was chartered in Edina led by charter president Samba Fall. His daughter is the president of their newly chartered Interact Club.	June 1 Rotary Friendship exchange of Brazilians from District 4500 in northeastern Brazil (Recife and Natal) enjoyed dinner at Bloomington Rotarian Bob and Nancy Erickson’s house
