Our very own Tom Gump has been personally invited by RI President Mark Maloney to participate in the first ever New Club Development Summit, to be held at Rotary World Headquarters. Tom was selected based on his outstanding accomplishments in membership growth and recognition as a new club development ambassador. His most recent success was in the formation of the Rotary Club of Minnesota Veterans, the first ever of its kind in the world! Please join us in congratulating Tom!
Tom has been a leader in membership growth, from his impressive 30+ new members he brought to his home club, Edina Morningside, to the formation of the newest club in District 5950, the Rotary Club of Minnesota Veterans.  Tom's vision to bring Rotary to new audiences with the same values and desire to serve was quickly realized in mere months, with their official charting in October of 2019 with 35 new members!  Tom has personally sponsored over 100 members into various Rotary clubs and his membership recruiting and retention tips were featured in the August 2018 issue of the Rotarian Magazine.

Tom's dedication to growth and innovation has led to an exciting opportunity to participate in the first ever New Development Summit.  The objective is to build a community of practice for establishing new clubs, formed by bringing together the best from each Zone in North America to share best practices, ideas, and goals for increasing membership and innovate new club formation.

We are so proud to have Tom's hard work recognized and to have him representing all the good work in membership within District 5950!  Congratulations Tom!
