These visioning tools will provide the following benefits.
At the District level we will:
1. Establishing a multi-year District plan aligned with the Rotary Action Plan.
2. Encouraging leadership development for current and future leaders.
3. Enhancing District health through increased engagement.
4. Educating Clubs about Rotary programs.
For clubs that choose to utilize the Club Visioning tool their measures of success will be:
An immediate measure of progress will be the members’ pledge and willingness to move the planning processes from a nice-to-do concept to meaningful growth programs for the club, its members, and its community.
The second is that the output from this session is woven into the annual plans of the incoming and succeeding Presidents. It will be reflected in the continuity and consistency of programming and leadership in your Club.
Finally, the long-term mark of accomplishment will be at the end of 3 years when your club advances from where it is to where it wants to be.
For the District Visioning process in October, we will be asking members of 5950 to complete an all-member survey. We will take the results of that survey and spend a day in meetings reviewing the results and identifying a list of priorities. Following that process, the board will meet to develop an action plan to achieve our goals.
For the Club Visioning process, we are looking for 16 volunteers that would be willing to participate in a one-day training session led by the IVFC. Once the training is complete, we would have four facilitators work with interested clubs to lead a four-hour workshop after the club completes a survey. This process will start in the winter of 2027.
