Welcome

Our District's first Vocational Training Team (VTT) went as a stand-alone trip to Stuttgart, Germany with 2 Rotarians (Don Stiles and Bob Erickson), 2 Hennepin Technical College instructors, and 2 Hennepin Technical College students.   Our purpose was to share and learn technical best practices of the German "dual vocational system" by visiting German companies, chamber of commerce, and technical institutes.  In addition, we wanted to experience the German culture while building new friendships and relationships with German Rotarians.  We presented in four German Rotary Clubs.  The itinerary is under downloads to the left

 

 

This year, the Willmar Rotary Club added two VTTs to their Global grant in Ghana.  One two-person team will teach the teachers a new curriculum and the other two-person team will teach the administrators how to set up, run, and repair the new computer equipment that was provided in the grant.  This grant project is currently in process of implementation.
