If you’ve been putting off your estate planning, I encourage you to do this during National Estate Planning Week, which kicks off on Monday, October 18. The Rotary Foundation has formed a unique partnership with freewill.com that provides a simple and convenient process to create a legal will or estate plan and include The Rotary Foundation as a beneficiary. You can find more information below and at https://www.freewill.com/therotaryfoundation.

I hope you will use this as an opportunity to start planning your legacy with The Rotary Foundation. If you have any questions about freewill.com or including The Rotary Foundation in your estate plans, please feel free to contact me or your Foundation representatives listed below.

Freewill.com and The Rotary Foundation:

In 2020, Rotary joined a group of prestigious philanthropic organizations by becoming an early adopter of a service called FreeWill.com. FreeWill provides users located in the United States the opportunity to create a legal will or estate plan and leave money to charity all in one simple process and completely free of charge. It also allows non-Rotarians, who are ready to give, to consider Rotary as a recipient of their generosity. To date, Rotary has secured over $2M in commitments because of this affiliation.

Everyone knows they need to draft a will or estate plan. It is a task that people appreciate checking off their to-do list. FreeWill makes this easy and allows Rotarians to support a cause they care about deeply in the process.
