Pinnacle Bank Championship Volunteers Needed

Millard Rotary Club provided a community service effort by participating as course Marshalls on the 18^th hole of the Pinnacle Bank Golf Championship in recent years.    

 

For 2023 Millard Rotary as well as all Rotarians in District 5650 have been invited to serve as Marshalls for all four rounds on the 18^th hole for the 2023 Pinnacle Bank Championship.   This hole enjoys the greatest amount of exposure to the public and the media and has the highest number of spectators.  It is the hole with greatest need which provides us with the opportunity to show the world what Rotarians are capable of.

 

The Pinnacle Bank Championship, which is played at Indian Creek Golf Club, is the successor to the original Cox.  This event will see the top up and coming players in the Korn Ferry tour as 25 of them will graduate to the PGA tour at the end of this tournament.   Those that choose to volunteer will have the privilege of seeing these players from inside the ropes.     

 

Marshalls work to make the day enjoyable for the spectators and the players.   I have found that the interaction with spectators alone is worth the effort.  

 

The volunteer package fee is $50, which includes tournament cap, shirt, access pass for all tournament days and 5 additional tournament passes for friends and family.   The tournament will provide beverages, snacks, breakfast, and lunch to volunteers.  

 

Dates for the Championship are August 10 through August 13, 2023.  Each tournament day will be divided into two shifts.   10 Marshalls will be needed for each shift.   So, would you kindly consider volunteering for one or more shifts and perhaps ask your friends to volunteer as well?
