Deadline - District Governor 2020-21 Applications

This message is going out to all club leaders in District 5650

It's time for us to select the person who will be District Governor in the 2020-2021 Rotary year.  We need your assistance in identifying and nominating candidates for the position.   Our District uses the procedures defined in the Rotary Manual of Procedure in Article 14, Nominations and Elections for Governors.  It is my responsibility as the immediate past District Governor to convene  this process.  

We will be holding interviews for potential candidates on April 14th.   You-and potential candidates-have until April 6th to submit their nomination for District Governor to me.  The applicant should include a resume with their nomination email. 

This is an important responsibility for you as a club leader.   We are trying to make sure that we have a strong pool of potential District Governor candidates, but we aren't always aware of everyone.   If you know someone in your club that would be a great DG candidate, please nominate them or at least bring them to our attention.

Again, nominations are due to me for review by the nominating committee by April 6th.  Interviews by the nominating committee will be held the morning of April 14th.
