Guest Speaker - Dr Matthew Bach

Dr Matthew Bach filled a casual vacancy for the Eastern Metropolitan Region in the Victorian Legislative Council, following the resignation of Mary Wooldridge (former Minister for Community Services, Mental Health, and Women's Affairs).

He and his wife have been married for over 15 years and have a daughter. They live with us in the Eastern Metropolitan Region.

Dr Bach is passionate about education. In the Legislative Council, he is a member of the Environment and Planning Committee and is Shadow Assistant Minister for Education, Early Childhood, Higher Education, Training and Skills."

He is to be a guest speaker at the April 7 meeting of the Rotary Club of Doncaster.

As he is our District’s new representative in the Legislative Council, we would like to extend an invitation to members of other clubs, to join us so we can get to know him.

If you would like to attend (perhaps as a ‘make-up’), could you please let us know (by April 2) so we can organise catering etc.

Time:  6:30 pm for 7:00 pm start

Cost:  $33 per head ($18 for Rotaractors)
