IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT DISTRICT CHANGEOVER NIGHT!

 

With the current health restrictions in place in Melbourne involving crowd numbers in indoor places, the Southern Golf Club, our venue for the District Changeover Dinner on 26th June, has advised us that only 50 people are allowed in the venue at the moment. As a result, they cannot say with any certainty what the situation will be by the night of our event in two weeks’ time. While the situation will gradually open up over the coming fortnight, we are not prepared to take the risk that we have too many guests for the venue and find that at the very last minute, we have to ‘uninvite’ people who have booked and paid.

 

Accordingly, District Governor Alma and District Governor Elect Daryl, together with the organizing team, have moved the event to be at the same venue, but held on the night of FRIDAY 9th JULY.  The same timings and other arrangements will still be in place.

With this move, it is hoped that the Government restrictions on numbers for gathering will have eased to such an extent that anyone who wishes to attend will be able to be there.

Rest assured that if you are now unable to attend, a refund of your payment (minus 50 cents booking fee to Trybooking) will be returned to you. If this is the case with you, please email our Trybooking co-ordinator, Alan Lunghusen from the Rowville-Lysterfield club at alan@lunghusen.com who will make the necessary arrangements for you.

 

However, we do hope that all of you who have already booked will still be able to join us.

 

Please be advised that the closing date for bookings now moves to the 28th of JUNE and there are places available for those who wish to make a booking.

The Changeover Dinner will be a memorable occasion and we look forward to seeing a large turn out of our members, especially as this will be the only chance for us to gather in large numbers during this Rotary year.

District Changeover Dinner 2021 at Southern Golf Club
Come and celebrate DG Alma Reynold's year as Governor, and welcome DGE Daryl Moran as Governor
for the 2021-2022 Rotary year.
Seating:  We will do our best to seat members from each club together or with designated people, but allocation may be limited by table size.
Group bookings: One person can book and pay for a group of 2 to 10 people, but all information including names,  contact details and dietary requirements must be included. 
Tickets: No tickets are required. A checklist will be at the door.
Dietary Requirements: Use drop down box if required - does not need an entry if not relevant.
