♥ Ridgewood A.M. Rotary, Dinner to honor 2017 Humanitarians of the Year, Stony Hill Inn, 231 Polify Road, Hackensack, April 20, 6 pm
The Ridgewood A.M. Rotary will honor Bea and Jim O’Rourke as 2017 Humanitarians of the Year at this celebratory dinner.
The O’Rourkes are long-term Ridgewood residents who have helped many thousands of people through their work with the poor, in education and through social justice causes and have been a recognized force in good government efforts and aid to the poor for decades.

♥ Rotary Club of Wayne, Beefsteak Dinner and Tricky Tray, Bloomingdale Fire Hall, 97 Hamburg Turnpike, Bloomingdale. April 21, 6 pm
The “Till We Can’t” Band will be the featured entertainment at Wayne Rotary’s charitable beefssteak dinner. There will also be a Tricky Tray, with gifts to be won, donated by local businesses and individuals.
Those who would like to donate gifts can do so by calling Barbara Schroeder, the Columbia Bank, at 973-696-8782.
Order seats via the U.S. mail. Just make out a check to “Wayne Rotary Foundation, Inc.” for $55. per person, and send to Wayne Rotary, Box 2022, Wayne, NJ 07470. ♥ Park Ridge Rotary Club, Gift of Life Doll House Raffle, drawing May 5
The Park Ridge Club is having a Gift of Life Doll House Raffle. All Raffle proceeds to go to District 7490 Gift of Life Program in memory of Dr. Robert Balentine, former Park Ridge School Superintendent and Library Board member.
This Victorian doll house was hand-crafted by friend Tom Kneeshaw with ornate details and fully painted. Dimensions: 40” wide x 32” tall x 27” deep Price of ticket: $10.00 each or 3 tickets for $25 Ticket numbers will be emailed, paper tickets sent by request.
Drawing is May 5, 2017, 1:00 PM. Winner need not be present at drawing. If golf is your game, join the Rotary Club of Paterson for its Golf Outing on May 18, 2017 at Preakness Valley Golf Course in Wayne, NJ. The event includes golf, lunch and dinner to follow at the Brownstone House in Paterson.
