Dear Felllow Rotarians,
The southern United States and the Islands of the Caribbean are experiencing an unprecedented assault from Hurricanes Harvey and Irma. The scope of the destruction is difficult to comprehend. One thing is sure that residents of these areas will need our help to recover.
Fortunately, Rotarians are working hard to provide assistance.
ShelterBox USA has been hard at work in Texas and the Caribbean to help and is currently in Florida waiting to see how and where they will be needed as Hurricane Irma bears down on the state.  You can find updates and ways to donate hereYou can also continue to see updates from PDG Louis Turpin on the District 7210 Facebook page here.
Our fellow Rotarians in Liberty New York have combined forces with Operation Endeavor and SUNY Sullivan to get much needed medical and clean up supplies.  You can find out more about the supply drive here and updates from Operation Endeavor and Liberty Rotarians in Texas and Florida here
The Rotary Foundation has set up a 'Donor Advised Fund' to support Rotarians who will be administering aid in the hardest hit areas over the coming weeks and months. They are poised to lend a hand to people in dire need.  You can find out more information on these funds here.
 They deserve your generous support.
Yours in Rotary,
District Governor Jim Damiani
