Global Grants Seminar

Through RI Global Grants, our District has helped and saved the lives of thousands of people around world. 

It has brought COVID 19 releif to desperately impoverished people in Madras Coromandel India, telemedicine to people in Ghana, sanitation to a hospital that serves refugees in Greece, addressed the opioid epidemic in our own community, purchased a much needed incinerator for a hospital in Haiti and helped provide clean water to the people in Costa Rica.

With this in mind our district continues to play an important role in participating in the development of global grants.  Your District Grants committee meets regularly to review suggestions and  looks for projects that will benefit humanity throughout the world.  We incourage your to share ideas with us and together we can develop projects together. 

Once a project is identified, there are requirements that need to be met in order to apply for the grant. One of these is to attend a Global Grants Seminar.  This year the seminar will be held via Zoom on Saturday April 1^st  - 9:30am – 11:30am.  We invite members of our district to attend to learn more about these grants and also to bring their suggestions and ideas for such a projects..
