District 7090's Abuse and Protection Committee (DAPC) meets regularly to discuss how to help - you and your Rotary and Rotaract Club in D7090 to prevent incidences of abuse, neglect, and harassment. This committee, the DAPC, exists to educate and respond when necessary to prevent high-risk situations.
This workshop is being made available with a focus on sharing information and tools, especially for Club boards. While it is open to all to join in the workshop at least one person from each Club should be asked to attend to review the information, be able to identify where these resources are on the District 7090 website and commit to communicating the information to Club officers and members. Clubs are welcome to do a watch party as well as follow up to have the DAPC provide a presentation.
Rotarians are welcome to invite and register someone as their guest including prospective members and community partner leaders.
