It gives me great pleasure to announce that PP Patsy Marshall of the Guelph-Trillium Rotary Club has been selected as your District Governor for the Rotary year 2014-2015.
I am sure everyone will agree that Patsy and her husband, Jim, are an excellent team to carry the torch forward for Rotary into the future.

After the interviews and selection process, your nomination committee, under the Chairmanship of PDG Norm Bindon, unanimously selected Patsy as our future Governor, following DGE Ian Ferguson and DGN Mike Gauthier.

Those who have worked with Patsy know that she is a very committed and knowledgeable Rotarian with the energy
and skills required to be an excellent District Governor. She will be an inspiration to the Rotary family and is well focused to lead the District, with a very clear understanding of Rotary values and the areas that need attention.

Patsy served as President of her Rotary Club of Guelph Trillium, in 2000-2001, and meets all the requirements of Rotary International for a Governor, having served in many areas of the District team. Her experience is broad and she currently serves as Assistant Governor of the Guelph Wellington cluster, is a member of the District training team, and is a Rotary Leadership Institute (RLI) facilitator, where her adult education and organizational skills have become well known.  Patsy is also very active with her club activities and has served on the Ribfest leadership team since its inception 13 years ago. She also Co-Chairs RYLA and Camp Enterprise at the club level and is directly involved with both of these programs, in several capacities, especially as a presenter.

Please join me in congratulating DGNN Patsy Marshall on her selection to this new position and also thank our nominating committee for a job well done.

With best regards,
Brian Carmichael
