Rotary International’s monthly theme for June is Rotary Fellowships month.
 
Fellowship is one of the five core values of Rotary-diversity, integrity, service, leadership and fellowship. It is through fellowship in Rotary that much is achieved: friendships develop, clubs are strengthened, projects evolve and humanity is served. Strong fellowship among Rotarians and meaningful service projects characterize Rotary worldwide.
 
May was a very busy month for Youth, with Camp Enterprise events, RYLA, and Youth Exchange Orientation.
 
Milton held its annual awards ceremony honouring the community and awarding scholarships to youth.
 
Wilmot Satellite Club held another successful BrewHaHa fundraising event.
 
We attended the opening of Norma Bangay Park’s accessible playground. This is another example of Rotary Palgrave’s continued support of their community.
 
Rotary Burlington had their global grant to provide a gravity- based water system. Hygiene and sanitation training and training in the repair and maintenance of the system in the El Yute community in Guatemala.
 
They have also partnered with The Angel Project, which gives a voice to the forgotten left in hospital for years. They offer partial funding for equipment such as customized wheelchairs, voice boxes etc. that will improve the lives of these people.  This will be an ongoing and hands on project for the club.
 
The Cambridge Cluster of clubs held another successful  Cambridge Rotary Classic Superhero Fun Run on May 27th in support of KidsAbility.
 
There have been lobster fests and rib fests and other events taking place throughout the District.
 
The Woodstock Oxford Cluster will hold The Medal Awards Night on June 6th, which recognizes Youth in the community.
