District Conference 2014 Highlights

What a sweet conference The Magic of Diversity was! From sweet chocolates upon arrival, through fabulous speakers all weekend, to a bittersweet closing and goodbye - District 7080 learned, shared and enjoyed true Rotary Fellowship!
 
District Governor Patsy Marshall, welcomed Ross and Brenda Tyson from Edmonton, Alberta, our Rotary International Representative.
 
    
 
A particularly special event on the weekend was the opportunity to make 1000 "Soup-in-a-Bags" to benefit local charities. This extremely well attended session was the highlight for many! Rotaract and Youth Exchange students joined in and everyone enjoyed the Hands-on nature of the project!
 
    
 
The speaker highlights were clear! Inspiring stories from Paul Rosen (GOLD Sledge Hockey), Joe Roberts (Skidrow CEO0, and Jason Burnett (SILVER Trampoline) enthralled the audience beyond their expectations!
