Subject:  Nominations for District Governor 2022-2023
District 7010 is now calling for nominations for the office of District Governor for the Rotary year 2022-2023.
Rotary Clubs are asked to canvass their members to find an individual who is interested, motivated and qualified to be District Governor. Role of the District Governor.
Nominations are to be submitted to the Chair of the District Nominations Committee along with the following documents:
  1. Governor-Nominee Designate Form;
  2. Curriculum Vitae to accompany Governor-Nominee Data Form;
  3. Nomination Resolution Form as adopted by Nominee’s Rotary Club.
The deadline for receipt of applications is December 20, 2019. 
The application and all supporting documents are to be sent to: DG Bill Hagborg, Chair, Nominating Committee preferably by email – or mail: Bill Hagborg, 505-118 Blair Street, North Bay ON P1A 4J1.
Interviews will be carried out in January 2020 on a date to be determined. 
The interviews will be conducted by the District Nominating Committee comprised of the District Governor (Chair), Immediate Past District Governor, 2 Past District Governors, 2 Assistant Governors and 1 Past Club President.
Following the nominee interviews, the Committee will make its selection and Clubs in D7010 will be notified of the results. The successful candidate will then be presented as the ‘District Governor Nominee’ at the Annual General Meeting during the Rotary Weekend to be held from April 3 to 5, 2020.
We look forward to receiving applications for consideration by the Nominating Committee. We know that there are many well qualified Rotarians who would do an excellent job as District Governor!
