When Interactors graduate from high school...some stay in their "home" Rotary district(see bottom of this page for Houston area District 5890 Rotaract clubs)...but most move away and attend college in another Rotary district.
 
Per Rotary General Secretary John Hewko...only 5% of Rotaractors join Rotary!?!  As Rotarians, it's our job to do everything we can to help and mentor them, plus create a pathway for them into Rotary.
 
HELPING OUR INTERACTORS

We all know that college freshmen can get overwhelmed...so we need to make it easier to find Rotaract....their next journey into the "Family of Rotary"!  Members of the Rotaract club can assist and guide the Interactors through their first year of college or trade school, and even be their mentors for professional development.

These lists can be shared on your Rotary District Interact site pages, with the Teacher Advisers, Rotary Sponsors, with the Interactors, on your District Interact, Rotary and Rotaract Facebook pages.  

There are two lists:
1.  Alphabetical by College/University and Community Based Rotaract club name.
2.  Listed by Rotary District

Note:  If their college or university isn't listed, please  contact me and I'll help them.

HELPING OUR ROTEX

Since many of our Rotex (Former Rotary Youth Exchange Students) also move away to attend college, please have your District RYE Committee Chair share this information with all of your district's former RYE students.  Here in Rotary District 5890, we have a very active Rotex (click here for our D5890 Rotex Site Page) group of students, so please encourage your Rotex students to contact them if they are attending college here in Houston:  Click here for our Rotex D5890 Facebook page or send an email to jenna.buscemi@gmail.com.  We want to get them involved to help mentor our Inbound RYE Students!
