The Skills 4 Living Game of Real Life will take place at Memorial Drive Presbyterian Church, 1612 Memorial Drive, Houston 77024. Dates and times are July 27-28, 7:30am- 4:30am. Rotary is the Charity for the game. Rotarians will interview students to participate during the game as Rotarians, sharing Rotary objectives, the 4Way Test and Service Above Self with all of the other students playing the game. Our objective is to equip these kids to do that and to have them seek out and find potential Interact Students who are those playing the game along with potential Rotaractors and Rotarians (those who are assisting with the games as mentors and employers).

We need Rotarian Volunteers to assist. The game schedule can found found at this link: game schedule. Martin Bailey of the Galleria Area Club is coordinating Rotary volunteers. He has broken down staffing into 4 sessions, 7:30-noon and noon-4:30 each day. Training will be accomplished once you get to the Game site and will take about 15 minutes. If you are able to participate, please email Martin (mcbailey@lplfs.com) with the times you can help us facilitate the game and the day. Martin will email back a confirmation. Be sure to include you contact phone number as well.

Students from several Houston/Harris County Area School Districts will be attending so many Clubs will find that there are players in the game representing their local high schools. The Skill 4 Living Game of Real Life was highlighted at the District Conference this year and the project was awarded the Best Vocational District Project of the year.

Send an email (mcbailey@lplfs.com) now. You will certainly enjoy the Game!
