Spc. Bradley Thomas, son of Roger (Rocky) and Veronica Thomas. Brad is a 25 year old young man who has served our country and has given an extreme sacrifice for our freedom. Brad joined the Army in July 2006 and was deployed to Iraq in December 2007. In less than one month from deployment, he was severely injured on January 18, 2008. His injuries were sustained when an IED detonated underneath his Stryker. His Stryker was the 2nd of three, several soldiers were injured (Brad the most severe) and there was one fatality. He suffered severe traumatic brain injury (TBI) with unknown outcome, fractured skull, broken right jaw, sternum, right elbow, femur and ankle. Today, he remains in “semi/minimally” conscious state, cannot communicate and remains on feeding tube. He requires 24/7 constant care.

HelpingaHero.org has partnered with Rotary District 5890 and the community to build a hospital quality home for SPC Thomas and his family. We hope you will come out and welcome this hero home!
