District 5890 # 1 in Foundation Giving!!!!

Terry Ziegler just received some good end of 2011 news from our Rotary Foundation. As of November 30, 2011, District 5890 is #1 in our Zone in giving to the Annual Programs Fund of The Rotary Foundation for this Rotary Year! Better yet, our giving is up 107.7% compared to this same time last year! Please click on the current Monthly Contribution Report to see if your club is one of the 41 clubs which has made an Annual Programs Fund contribution this year and if so, please congratulate your members. If you are one of the 22 clubs which has yet to make a contribution this year, please consider doing so by December 31, 2011.

Be sure to include the new Global Contribution Form http://www.rotary.org/RIdocuments/en_pdf/123en.pdf (you can now sign up for regular TRF Direct contributions - right on this form) or Multi-Donor Form with every contribution check.

Please note the following 2011 Year-end Deadlines for TRF Contributions:

Credit Cards: Online via www.rotary.org – must be authorized on or prior to 31 December 2011, midnight (Central Standard Time).
Fax: (847-328-4101) / Phone: (866-976-8279) - must be received prior to the close of business on 31 December 2011.
Checks: - must be postmarked 31 December 2011 or prior and received at the Foundation by 6 January 2012.
