The Rotary clubs in Rotary District 5890 are comprised, first and foremost, of individuals who share a passion for goodwill and service to others. We're People of Action! Our members live and/or work in Harris or the 8 surrounding counties. Some live in one community, but work in another, so they join the Rotary club that is most convenient to them.
Our Rotarians are their community's working or retired business owners, young professionals, community leaders & volunteers, executives, managers, political leaders, educators and professionals. Having all these vocations enables a Rotary club to use each Rotarian's skills, knowledge, and resources to plan successful service projects.
Rotary is a nonpolitical and nonreligious organization, and membership is open to people of all cultures, races, and creeds. Our Rotary clubs are continually adding new members. Becoming a member involves you and the club getting to know each other to confirm that your membership in our club will be meaningful, and in turn, that you will be an added source of strength to our organization and the work we do.
