Ever wonder what it's like to be District Governor?  Wonder no more.  The D5890 District Governor Nominating Committee & Chair, PDG Bill Palko, invites you to their District Governor Informational Meeting on Wednesday, October 7th at 6:30 PM at Fratelli's Ristorante located at 1330 Wirt Rd., Houston, TX 77055.  The committee members will share the requirements, and how to apply during this informal meeting.
 
CLICK HERE for the 2023-2024 District Governor Application Form - Complete and sign form, then email to the Chair of the District 5890 Nominating Committee, PDG Bill Palko.  November 1, 2020 is the first day to submit your application, and all applications must be submitted by the deadline of December 31, 2020.

On Saturday, January 16, 2021, individual interviews will be held and the 2023-2024 District Governor will be selected!
 
 
 
 
"The Life of a District Governor:  A Short Story presented by PDG's Gary Gillen, Carmen Cuneo and Eric Liu".  Learn the story of the Governorship from these present day Past District Governors.  "No, really, how much does it cost to be DG?"  "What costs do RI and our District cover?"  "How much time will I spend performing my duties as Governor?" "What kind of training will I receive?"  "Do I schedule all the club meetings, committee meetings and district events all by myself?"
 
Get the answer to these and all your burning questions at our DG Informational Meeting.  Light appetizers with water and tea will be provided.  A cash bar is available for those who wish to whet their whistle.
