On Friday, January 31, 2020, the 2nd Annual E.S.S.I. (Empower. Stand. Serve. Impact) Gala will be held at 6:30 PM at The Ballroom at Bayou Place.   The objective of the gala is to help raise awareness of human trafficking in Houston and how we can prevent it from happening to loved ones (Houston is #1 in the US), and to raise funds for a local organization fighting human trafficking, 100% of proceeds go to the benefiting organization. The event is led by Rotarians, and open to the general public.

Last year's beneficiary was UHAT (United Against Human Trafficking), and this year the beneficiary is RBRW (Real Beauty Real Women), whose founder, Jacquelyn Aluotto, is a member of the Rotary Club of Houston Skyline and has received several awards for the organization's impact in the human trafficking area, and more.  Jacquelyn also spoke at our 2018 Rotary D5890 District Conference in San Antonio, Texas.
