As most of you know, RI's Membership Manuals are very good about telling us what needs to be accomplished. Club Presidents and Membership Chairs say, "I agree this needs to be a priority, but how do I do it? Where do I start?"
I have prepared a Cookbook Approach to Club Membership Recruitment and Retention, which includes all the tools (ppt presentation, documents, spreadsheets and letters) which are available on the left side of this web page. As you know, I'm always encouraging Rotarians to think outside the box.
This approach does work. The Space Center Rotary Club reversed a downward trend 4 years ago, and when I was membership chair, we inducted 21 new members, while losing only 5.
Please review the documents, make the appropriate changes for your club, and best of luck in your recruiting and retention efforts.
