To qualify for either a 2017-18 District Grant or a Global Grant, the club must have (1) the 2017-18 President, and (2) at least one other member, attend Grants Training. Some club members will attend Grants Training at President Elect Training Seminar (P.E.T.S.).
This year any post All Club Training will be online. Specifically, District 5890 will use GoToMeeting to conduct training. For those of you unfamiliar with GoToMeeting, it is a web-hosted service. It is an online meeting, desktop sharing, and video conferencing software that enables club members around District 5890 to meet with Stacy via the Internet in real time. You will need to use a computer (PC or Mac) or smart device (Iphone, Ipad, Android, Google, et cetera).
Available meeting times will be posted by April 10, 2017. You will contact Stacy to reserve a seminar time. There is a limit of 25 participants per session (plus Stacy) - first come, first served. Again, the seminars will last approximately ninety minutes. There is no charge to participate. However, your club will be charged a $10.00 rescheduling fee if a member does not to show up during their scheduled seminar.
