Fellow Rotarians, the lineup for our 2020 Conference will provide attendees with a rare opportunity to hear powerful, diverse speakers, plus enjoy lots of great food, fun & fellowship...So come join DG Gary & First Lady Janice as we all celebrate and learn how Rotary Connects The World,  including our District Conference Community Service Project, D5890 Music Park!
Ronnie Hallenberger, your District 5890 Conference Chair, is making sure that this will be an exciting event for everyone, including a fun and unique experience for Rotarians, plus for Spouses/Partners at their very own events!  "First Time Attendees" will be treated to a special reception just for them.  This conference will be a great opportunity to share Rotary with your entire family!

"ROTARY FELLOWSHIP" EVENTS ON WEDNESDAY, APRIL 29TH

 
For the first time ever, we're having "Rotary Fellowship" events at our conference!  Plan to arrive a day early on Wednesday, April 29th,,,and you don't need to be a member of a fellowship to participate!  Our D5890 members of the "International Fellowship of Motorcycling Rotarians" are organizing a Motorcycle Ride at District Conference on the morning of Thursday, April 30th, so ride your motorcycle up on Wednesday so you're ready to ride the next morning.  There will also be a Tennis Tournament at the Texas A&M facility organized by our D5890 members of the "International Tennis Fellowship of Rotarians" which will include Rotarians from Zone 25B, plus we'll have members of the A&M Tennis team there as well.  On Wednesday night there will also be a Whiskey Tasting by our members of the "Whiskey Drinking Rotarians & Members Fellowship", and maybe even a Tequila Tasting!  On Wednesday night at 6:30 PM there will be a dinner at Messina Hof Winery by our D5890 members of the "Rotarian Wine Appreciation Fellowship."   We'll also have a Golf Tournament on Thursday, plus lots of other exciting activities.

"DISTRICT GOVERNOR GARY'S SATURDAY NIGHT "GOVERNOR'S DINNER"

DG Gary and Janice, plus their family, are looking forward to celebrating a year of Service Above Self with you at the Saturday night "Governor's Dinner", which will be held at Texas A&M's "Ford Hall of Champions" at Kyle Field.  This will be a remarkable and unique experience, and this dinner is included in your conference registration fee.
 
This facility is a massive, 30,000-square-foot virtual sports museum that celebrates the iconic football stadium and Texas A&M Athletics.  Don't miss this chance to celebrate Rotary in "Texas A&M Style" at this amazing venue.

We'll have several Hospitality Suites and are where much of the fellowship and magic of a district conference happen!  A true Rotary tradition, the Hospitality Suites are where people gather to sample food and beverages in a friendly and fun environmentThese are the perfect opportunity for everyone to get to know our District 5890 Family of Rotary!
 
They're FREE for ALL conference attendees!  These Hospitality Suites will be open on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night and are hosted by several D5890 Rotary clubs.

DG GARY'S DISTRICT CONFERENCE "ROTARY CONNECTS THE WORLD" MUSIC PARK SERVICE PROJECT

DG Gary has selected a wonderful community service project that will have them "Jammin' In The Sunshine" in our Rotary Connects The World Music Park in Bryan/College Station Sports Complex located within the Veteran's Memorial Park.  Each D5890 Governor selects a community service project that will benefit the local community for years to come, and this project will be loved for years to come.
