Jason Leib

District Governor 

Jason joined Rotary in March of 2006, and served as President of the Lenexa Rotary Club in 2009-2010, as assistant District Governor from 2012-2016, and chaired the District Conference Committee for 2017 and 2018.  He serves on the Lenexa Planning Commission, is past chairman of the board of CERI (County Economic Research Institute), and has served on various other boards and committees.

Jason is Past Chairman of the Lenexa Chamber of Commerce, serving his second term as Chair of the Legislative Affairs Committee and was honored as the Chamber Member of the Year in 2007.  He is a 2006 graduate and 2007-2008 Co-Chair of Leadership Lenexa.

Jason is a Johnson County, KS native, living in Overland Park until the age of 4 and growing up in Lawrence, KS, returning to the area in 2002.  He earned degrees in Information Technology from Johnson County Community College (A.A.S) and Ottawa University – Kansas City (B.A).  In 2012 Jason was a candidate for the Kansas House of Representatives for the 17th district and was defeated in the primary election. He lives in Lenexa with his wife Jacci and daughter Mallory, and has two step-daughters: Desiree who recently graduated from Emporia State with an art degree and Chloe who is a nurse at North Kansas City Hospital.

Jason and his partners recently sold their technology consulting company to High Touch Technologies of Wichita where he is now employed. On the same date as the sale, he and a new set of partners signed a lease to open Transport Brewery, a craft beer production facility and taproom recently opened in downtown Shawnee, Kansas. He also enjoys running, mostly 5Ks and half-marathons, which is a necessary balance to the brewing “quality control”. Along with kids’ activities, he enjoys following Kansas Jayhawks basketball and Sporting KC.
