Rotary District 5370 Leadership Team 2021-2022
As District Governor, it is my pleasure to introduce you to your District’s Leadership Team for the 2021- 2022 Rotary year. This team is comprised of dedicated and experienced Rotarians and Rotaractors from clubs across our District who volunteer their time, talent, and energy to provide district level leadership intended to support clubs.  Our team is made up of three major groups: The Board of Directors, District Committees, and Assistant Governors.
The Board of Directors provides governance oversite in keeping with Rotary International and District bylaws and policies. Each year the Board, updates and approves a District Strategic Plan which sets direction and identifies the key priorities to support Clubs and the District. Throughout the year a key function of the Board is to monitor the progress of this plan.
District Committees focus their leadership on supporting clubs in different areas. This year we have the following Committees: Foundation, Membership, Community and International Service, Indigenous Relations, Youth Services, Peace Builder, Administration, Public Image and Learning and Development. District committees support clubs by sharing resources and expertise. They also create opportunities for networking and idea sharing for clubs across the district.
Assistant Governors (AGs) are assigned to each Rotary and Rotaract Club in the District.  All Assistant Governors are past club presidents who can be a key source of support to club leaders and assist the District Governor to get to know our clubs.
As District Governor, I feel very fortunate to be working alongside this great group Rotarians and Rotaractors to provide leadership will support the growth of Rotary and the impact of Rotary service in our district and beyond.
Yours in Rotary Service,
Donna Barrett
