What can You and Your Club do to contribute to the Rotary Foundation Challenge of growing the Endowment to $2.025 billion USD in 2025 – your legacy and Rotary’s Promise to use the Magic of Rotary to improve lives in communities here at home and around the world?
You & Your Family – consider a living legacy gift, or a legacy promise (bequest).
Your Club - help establish a new District 5370 Cash Endowment Fund-Share of at least $25,000USD. Once this named Cash Endowment is established:
- ½ the annual earnings come back to D5370 as District Designated Funds (DDF) to fund Club-led District & Global Grant Projects, the principal remains invested. These earnings are in addition to DDF we receive from Annual Fund-Share contributions made each year by Rotarians and Clubs.
- Rotarians, Rotaractors, Family & Friends can help grow the Fund with directed tax-deductible donations and Clubs can help grow the Fund with directed club cash donations.
Request is for each Rotary or Rotaract Club to contribute equivalent of $500 USD (or more), before the end of the Rotary Year. If no Club Cash available this year, consider committing funds from your next year budget!
