Wyland's Mobile Classroom at RI Convention

LOS ANGELES -- The Wyland Foundation Mobile Classroom was on display in the registration area during the Rotary International Convention in Los Angeles. The 18-wheeler tractor-trailer combination featured a mobile classroom that offered a multimedia teaching program dedicated to water conservation.  Working jointly on a Matching Grant from the Rotary International Foundation, the Redondo Beach Rotary Club and CLUB ROTARIO La Paz-Bahia de La Paz in Mexico donated $50,000.00 to the Wyland Foundation to assist its efforts to teach youth about the vital importance of water to our modern way of life. The Learning Center will start a tour throughout the western United States shortly after the convention concludes. Click HERE to view the flag that appeared on the Wyland display.
