SCANEX Youth Exchange Students At Lake Elsinore
The Lake Elsinore International Campout, sponsored by the Rotary Club of Lake Elsinore, was held last weekend (September 8-10) at Lake Elsinore, to gather all of the Rotary Youth Exchange students in the SCANEX area together, so that they could meet and get to know each other.
Thirty seven students from England, Sweden, Denmark, Belgium, France, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, Spain, Italy, Kenya, India, Taiwan, Thailand, Nicaragua, Colombia, Ecuador, Chile, and Brazil, among others, joined together to learn about their responsibilities and obligations while here in the United States as part of Rotary Youth Exchange, and a little bit about each other's countries. But they also had time to entertain each other by singing, dancing, playing musical instruments, watching movies, and playing games. They will get together several more times during their year-long stay here, some of them participating in the year-end train tour. Stay tuned for further developments.
