Governor Susanne Sundberg's Message
Congratulations to 2008-2009 District Governor Chuck "Chuckles" Anderson and his wife Terri for an outstanding year in District 5280! RI President DK Lee asked us to "Make Dreams Real" and Chuck and his leadership team certainly did that and more. Thanks to everyone in the District for their support of Governor Chuck and his goals.
RI President John Kenny's theme for 2009-2010 is "The Future of Rotary is in Your Hands" and his emphasis will be on Water, Health, Hunger, and Literacy. District 5280 will be strongly supporting these areas. As I stated at the District Assembly, PDG Chuck Andersen's "Lions" have been safely transported by the "Pilots" to an animal sanctuary. We will continue the many important projects and missions undertaken in previous years and as pilots this year, I also ask you to "Reach New Heights in Rotary Service."
Pilots, start your engines and "Come Fly with Me," as District 5280 soars to new altitudes in all areas of Rotary service! I am very much looking forward to working with all of you and making this a year to remember.
