Membership is the pillar of Rotary. Continue to show the world that Rotary members are people of action — people who are doing good in communities all over the world. This doesn't happen by default it happens by each club and club member taking action.

This year Rotary International has a new strategic plan which is underpinned by four key priorities – to increase our impact, expand our reach, enhance participant engagement, and increase our ability to adapt.  There is so much you can do to make Rotary relevant for your members and potential members.

Rotary International identified five significant touch points, or Rotary experiences, that help us maintain prospective members’ interest in Rotary, keep them engaged for the long term, and encourage returning members to rejoin.
  Early awareness of and introduction to Rotary: Ensure that the first contact, onboarding process, and mentoring make positive impressions
  Involvement in Rotary: Provide local and international service activities as well as professional development opportunities to meet expectations and enhance participant engagement
  Club environment: Create a welcoming environment that embraces diversity, transparency, open communication, innovation and flexibility.,
  Overall membership experience: Explore the value and challenges of club membership
  Paths to expand our reach: Overcome barriers to membership by offering new opportunities for personal and professional connections and create new channels into Rotary
