About our speaker:

After attending St. Monica’s High School in Santa Monica, Bob Klein played college football at the University of Southern California, where he was the starting tight end for the Trojans' 1967 national    championship team. Following his senior season, he was drafted in the first round of the 1969 NFL draft by his hometown Los Angeles Rams.  His teammate, OJ Simpson, was the first pick in the NFL draft that year.

Bob played for the LA Rams from  1969-1976 and then played for the San Diego Chargers from 1977-1979. In a 1985 vote of the fans, Bob Klein was named as the tight end on the Los Angeles Rams 40th Anniversary Team.

Currently, Bob Klein is the President and CEO of Saint John’s Health Center Foundation and has been a member of the Rotary Club of Santa Monica since 1992.
