9 AM - 2 PM  President-Elect & Assistant Governor Training, 
                      Red Lion Hotel (Cascade Room)
This training is the in-person, district portion of the President-elect training that was conducted virtually in February for 2022-23 Club presidents.
It is an opportunity to network with your fellow classmates, improve your presidential skills and get you fully ready to lead your club into the next Rotary year.
 
3:30 - 4:30 PM   Interactive presentation - David Thompson Canoes re-enactment
Meeting of first Europeans and Wenatchi tribal members in 1805
 
  • 3:30 PM - Loading of canoes - Walla Point Park, beach basin, Interact & Rotex students (playing role passengers, rowing canoes; limited opportunity for teen-age children of Rotarians to participate)
  • 4 PM - Meeting of first British explorers & Wenatchi tribal members, 1805 - Walla Point Park paddle basin; landing of Canoes and re-enactment of first meeting of the British explorers and the Wenatchi’s tribal members.
All Rotarians are invited to observe and learn from the re-creation / demonstration. This event hosted by the Wenatchee Row and Paddle Club, the Wenatchee Valley Museum and a partnership with the Wenatchi Tribe.
 
4:30 - 5:30 PM       No-host networking socials -
Marriott Residence Inn Patio 
  (Walking distance from David Thompson Canoes)
  and/or Hilton Garden Inn Patio and Coast Lounge
Join your fellow Rotarians for an afternoon social hour at one of the lounges of our host hotels. Then get yourself ready for one of the highlights of the conference, Friday’s home-hosted dinners.
 
6 - 9 PM   Home Hosting - Pick-ups/meet ups with your hosts at Wenatchee Convention Center Lower-Level Lobby (Columbia Street entrance)
Follow the instructions in your registration packet to connect to your evening’s dinner host. Hosts will arrange for transportation for you to their home or dinner location and back to the Convention Center or your hotel. Be prepared for a warm and convivial evening of fellowship and fun.

Golfing - Three Lakes all-skills scramble, $65 green fees
Time: Tee Times start at 9 a.m. (individual Tee Times will be provided after sign-up)

Winery Walk -Stroll some of the loop trail on the way to the Chamber.   All wine tasting will be at the Chamber with multiple wineries represented. 
Time: 1:00-3:00
Meet up Location: Patio at Residence Inn, east side near trail,
25 N Worthen St., Wenatchee
We will taste various wines at our Chamber of Commerce tasting room
Fees: A flight is $10 – Pay at venue
 
Downtown Brewery walk - Three plus breweries will be visited, wide varieties of beer & ciders.  Time: 1:00-3:00.  Meet-up Location: Patio at Residence Garden Inn, east side near trail, 25 N Worthen St, Wenatchee
 
Cycling - Loop circuit – road or mountain bikes

Time: 9 AM, led by Evan Plews, Wenatchee Confluence RC

Meet up Location: Squilchuck State Park, (parking area) 7 miles SW of Wenatchee
Difficulty: Moderate
Bring your own Bike -- mountain bike rentals are extremely limited so participants are encouraged to bring their own mountain bike
 
Pickleball Courts

Limited to 12 people. Beginners okay

Wenatchee Art Walk
Enjoy a beautiful walk (approx. 2 mi) along the Wenatchee waterfront on the paved loop trail; guide will provide information on the art pieces along the trail, including a beautiful flower garden maintained by volunteers.
Walk begins at 9 AM.   
Meet up location:  Patio at Hilton Garden Inn, 25 N Worthen St.
    (east side of hotel between the hotel & the trail)
