With the snowfall, it may feel like December, but it's actually February and the District Conference is only two months away - April 11.

Congratulations to our weekly draw winners:  Dennis Rook of Chilliwack wins 1,000 points for a Paul Harris recognition and Karen Long of Aldergrove wins two tickets to the Thursday Night Irish-Caribbean Night!

This week we are highlighting our terrific line-up of speakers:

Michelle O'Brien is a double PR - as our Rotary International President's Representative and a Public Relations expert.  Michelle has entertained us before with her social media presentations and is both enthusiastic and engaging.

Shirley Grace was such a hit at the 2018 District Conference that she was invited back and returns with new presentations.

Peace Scholar and West Point graduate, Paul K. Chappell is working with our District to develop a Peace & Conflict Studies university program.  He will be speaking on a unique, groundbreaking Peace Literacy Initiative.

Mitty Chang is one of Rotary's youngest and most popular speakers.  He built his first website at age 10 and started his first business at age 12.  He has been in the Rotary family since age 14 when he joined Interact, then Rotaract and Rotary. He will be speaking on the Future of Rotary.

Dr. Coyte Cooper is a best selling author, international speaker and high performance coach who is one of the premier experts in the area of leadership and maximizing human potential.

Stanley Janicki, from Sedron Technologies (formerly Janicki Bioenergy) and his family have been strong Rotarians and community supporters.   He will speak to us about "Innovations in Technology".

Paul K. Chappel is donating an autographed copy of his book, Soldiers of Peace, about waging peace, ending war, the art of living, and what it means to be human, which will go to the first name draw.

That person plus the next five names drawn will have special VIP seating for two, with one of our wonderful guest speakers at Saturday lunch.

To be eligible for the draw, you must register and pay to attend the District Conference (which you can do when you CLICK HERE!) by Thursday night.
