The Bring A Guest, or BAG Program is an incentive based program to encourage an entire club’s membership to invite guests to Rotary meetings, events, and service projects.

Here's how it works:

When a Rotarian brings a guest, the Rotarian fills out a tag with their information and their guest’s information. That tag is placed in the Rotary BAG!

Once a quarter a drawing is held, and the winning Rotarian and guest both win prizes. In addition to the main prize for the guest and for the Rotarian, we would also recommend giving a free lunch to the winning guest, encouraging them to return to visit your club again, and two free guest lunches to the winning Rotarian to encourage them to continue bringing guests (see the thank you letters below.)

Important Note:  This is not a "Bring A Potential Rotarian" program.  The intent is to encourage non-Rotarians to visit the club.  Even if they don't join, they will know more about Rotary and the club.  Rotarians get to enter for the draw whether the guest is a spouse, grandchild, friend or associate.

Bring A Guest (BAG) and get as many slips into the drawing bag as you want. After the drawing, the BAG will be emptied, and we start again for the next draw.

Outcomes:

*It is a great way to keep track of how many people are visiting your club.

*It also gives you an accurate indication of how many people are inviting guests.

*It allows your membership committee to have a steady stream of reminders for your club regarding bringing guests to meetings, events, and service projects.

*It is a tangible, ongoing program that can shift your club’s energy into a culture that is friendly and welcoming to all guests (not just potential Rotarians.)
