Grants Management Seminars 2017

Every club in District 5050 wishing to apply for matching grants for service projects (both local and international) is required by Rotary International to qualify by having members attend a Grants Seminar every year.

Topics included will be Purpose, Grant Management, Successful Grant Projects, Stewardship, Qualification, Designing a Project, Applying for and Implementing a Grant, Oversight and Reporting, and Memorandum of Understanding.

Attendees will learn about District Designated Funds, District Grants, Global Grants and Packaged Grants.

A minimum of two people from each club must attend a Grants Management Seminar, and one of these must be the President-Elect.

There will be two seminars and both seminars will cover the same format, and club members may choose either one to attend.

Each club shall have the option of sending a third person. If a club wishes to send more than two, please contact District Foundation Chair Jane Helten at janehelten@gmail.com

Doors will be open at 9:00 a.m. for registration and the program will start at 9:30 a.m. and is scheduled to run no later than 2:00 p.m. Lunch is included.

Please click here to review the materials posted on the District Grants page in preparation for the seminar.
