YOU Could be District Governor - Webinar

District 5040 is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Rotarians to apply for the position of District Governor (DG) for the year 2026-27. 

A webinar will be held on Thursday, September 21, 2023, at 7:00 PM.  No pre-registration is required.

The role of DG is demanding but the rewards are incredibly unique and fulfilling. More information may be found in this Role Description and Election Guidelines are available from your club President and Secretary.

This will be an interactive information session with three experienced Past District Governors to give an overview of the application process, roles, and responsibilities and to answer your questions.

• Do you need to be an AG before you can be a DG?
• What if you don’t get selected – can you try again?
• How much does all this cost?  What expenses are covered?  What’s not covered?
• What role does your partner/spouse play during the DG journey?
• What skills did you learn during this process?
• What is the biggest challenge a DG may face?
• What opportunities – and experiences are available after being DG?
