Rotary Meeting 4/5/2017
We were all greeted by Matt,  led in prayer by Brian.  We didn’t sing today because our musician was out sick.
Bob collected fines-We had some happy spring dollars, and other happy dollars for-Jackie is going to Singapore for a week, Alison was glad to be at the meeting, Matt’s celebrating his 15 year wedding anniversary, Alicia’s great bank story where a bank employee helped an unemployed customer get a job, Bob’s nephew quit his job and turned down an offer for 1 million dollar salary to move to Boston to work in brewery. Vic’s advised  us to check the fine print if traveling Allegiant Air.

*We are not receiving donation letters like we have in the past.  Remind organizations you are affiliated with to send them in
*Vic will be organizing the worksheet for the auction volunteers that are needed.  Please see him to sign up
*Bill delivered two beds on Tuesday to twin girls in Aliquippa.  Total is now 178 beds. Currently we have three applications that will be reviewed.  We are also working on a formal rejection letter.
*Harry reviewed the Foundation luncheon and stated he wants our club to meet the Paul Harris goals for this year. Vic mentioned we are on the list now.
Bethany Williams, Director Community Development in Beaver Falls.  Her mission is to build relationships between municipal government and businesses to promote growth.  They have had 30 new businesses in Beaver Falls over the past 4 years.  They have 21 blocks of commercial space and are looking to fill some space with the Cracker Plant that is being build.  She also stated that Beaver County is in a growth cycle and that she thinks the entire region can market and continue to promote the area.
Our total fine pot is $194, Harry won $10 with the ace of hearts.
