Where Are You? Luna Vista & Internet Search

Luna Vista had a great crowd to celebrate Bert's Birthday - not sure if it was 50 or 70 but we had a good time and good cake!!  President Vinnie had his kids in attendance, Seal Colon was in the house, and a friend (sorry to miss her name) of our friend Gloria from Uganda joined as well.  Oktoberfest is a big discussion point - update your Facebook friends to alert them - we need more silent auction items that can be combined into a great basket item - so if you have anything let us know to match it up with other items!   Happy Dollars was fun but we were very happy to hear about the Woodland School Test Scores being so much better!  Our program was from Bill Osborne (and his wife Lee) who discussed Internet Search Engines (mostly Google) and your business placement in the results.  He talked about  how searches are resolved by category and by location.  He also discussed the results being organic - not paid for.  His company has built an electronic billboard process to get your company on the first page of a search.  This technology is evolving and our local businesses need to stay up on this to keep their brand in front of their customers.
