The Red Cross is There When You Need Help

Maybe it was the German music that greeted us or the fact the President Don was MIA, but this week's meeting was different, even without the sponsorship pledges if a certain member is televised doing certain acts, but enough about that. PP Paul got things going and happy dollars featured its usual fascinating items like are lederhosen a form of hot pants and real men wear pink shirts. We also celebrated Carolyn finishing her book (yeah!) and Ephrem, the student who is staying with Craig & Cass, getting his Visa (not the credit card). Craig told a great story on obtaining the Visa and it really should be a program! For the program we listened about the history of the Red Cross, especially in Yolo County and all the services offered through the Red Cross (like Blood donations & Pet CPR!). In 2009 there were 77 events in Yolo County and we raised over $60,000 for the Haiti disaster. Please consider donating dollars or your time to this great organization.
