The Lunatics welcome the DG and A New Member

Our wandering Pres Don kicked off the meeting that had 80% of the membership in the house. It was great to see everyone as always! Don reminded everyone that LV will be dark the next two weeks for Thanksgiving and to attend the combined Rotary party on 12/3 (see Ute for tix). Our beloved Pres will be celebrating Thanksgiving in China on a business trip. Have fun Don! We welcomed District Governor Karl Diekman and his wife Romi and Karl gave a nice reflection on what Rotary has meant to his life and what it can mean to yours. The highlight of the night was the pinning of new member Jorge Arias by, at sponsor Doug's suggestion, Karl's wife Romi. A nice touch before we all came up and shook Jorge's hand to welcome him to the club.
