Program:

Tonight's program was brought to us by Doctors Sudershan Singh and Tim Bernard on how the Woodland Clinic has been evolving to counter the COVID-19 virus.

They touched on key dates over the past 2 months, notable occurrences (like the outbreak at Stollwood), and how the Clinic has adjusted to the new procedures.

They talked about different approaches (herd vs. lockdown) that are being utilized throughout the world and touched on the emerging attempts at a vaccine.

While allowing folks to be out and about, the key will be to continue being 6 feet apart as best you can.

The fear is that the 2nd wave will bump deaths in California from (today) 2900 to 5400 by August.

We went well past our allocated time as they answered many questions from our members.

Here's a slide with links to some great sites for more information.

Next Week: Art Pimentel, President of Woodland Community College on Distance Learning at WCC.
