Danielle Wogulis, our newest and I believe our youngest member, and her Halloween buddy gave us a life recap up to now.
  • Local Beginning: Born in San Francisco;  moved to Davis at 9.
  • Excelled and active in High School:  Earned a whopping 5.0 GPA; participated in the theater group, working behind the scenes doing set design and decoration.
  • Continued excellence in College: Awarded a regent’s scholarship to UC Santa Barbara; earned a degree in art from the College of Creative Studies; “escaped” to study abroad at the University of Leeds in the UK.
  • Today: Lives in Sacramento; works in Woodland at the Yolo Conflict Resolution Center, which she mentioned is a little ironic since she does just about anything to avoid conflict.
  • Hobby: Paints in several different mediums including Acrylic and oil. (Hopefully soon she will treat us to a showing of her art!)

Joe, the stand-in President for the evening closed with a quote from John Wayne:

Tomorrow is the most important thing in life. It comes to us at midnight very clean. It’s perfect when it arrives and puts itself in our hands. It hopes we’ve learned something from yesterday.
