Luna Vista is Honored!
President Cass got us off to a rousing start and showed off a new Rotary Song Board. The new Capay Valley club "borrowed" ours and we hope to swap to get ours back. We had a couple of visitors including Cleve Baker from Woodland Sunrise and Vanessa van Muyden who is a junior at WHS, an accomplished volleyball player, in Interact, and is our representative to Camp Royal. We heard about the BBQ at the new and improved Rotary Park, Picnic Day (who knew SUI meant skating under the influence) and the charter nights for the two new clubs (Capay this week, Davis Sunset next week). For Happy Dollars there were some neat stories although the story about Craig's knee injury was not one of them - Hang in there you weekend warrior! But we celebrated Don's anniversary (27!) and we have a new beekeeper in the club. Then the highlight involved a bunch of Lunatics heading over to the City of Woodland celebration where we were honored for our community service work. Good Job!!
